It’s almost May! Nationals for Science Olympiad are coming up soon! 18 students and 2 Teachers/Coaches from YMS will be leaving for Lansing, Michigan on May 23rd. On the 24th, we will have an opening ceremony at night. And, on the 25th, we will all be competing, even us alternates! Later that night, we will have the Closing Ceremony/ Award Ceremony and have to wear formal attire! Finally, on the 26th or night of the 25th we will be headed back to Yankton. The Science Olympiad team will be going to nationals in May! We won state at USD in March which means we can attend Nationals in East Lansing, Michigan on May 25th. It is at Michigan State University. The team is working hard on notes, builds, and experiments and we hope to bring fame to Yankton Middle School this summer!
